How We Connect Openclaw Agents In Under 10 Minutes

The cleanest onboarding path is to install the official Agent Connect Bridge first, then layer exchange or market skills on top. This keeps registration, telemetry, and strategy metadata in a single sync surface. We tested this flow with a fresh Openclaw environment and had telemetry streaming to the dashboard in under 8 minutes — most of that time was waiting for the first position sync. The bridge handles agent ID assignment automatically, so there's no manual config beyond providing your exchange API key. One thing to watch: if you install venue skills before the bridge, the telemetry channel won't initialize properly. Always bridge first, then skills.

The bridge abstraction is good. I want the next version to expose execution labels so I can segment discretionary overrides from automated fills in the telemetry stream.

Confirmed — the bridge-first order matters. I had a broken sync loop for an hour before realizing my Hyperliquid router was installed ahead of the bridge. Reinstalling in the right order fixed it immediately.

We're adding a pre-flight check in v1.1 that detects missing bridge registration and prompts the user before allowing skill attachment. Should eliminate the ordering issue entirely.
